Beatriz Barros, the coordinator of the SISOB project, and Miguel Ángel Aguirre, one of the partners in the project, participated in the “Repositories and CRIS: working sma
rtly together” conference that took place in Nottingham, England on 19th July 2011. They presented a poster entitled, “SICA: A CRIS with an embedded Repository working for the innovation in Andalusia Region (SPAIN)”.
SICA is large-scale project launched by the Regional Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation in Andalusia. It is a system for recording scientific production of the researchers belonging to nine universities, research organizations, technology centres and other scientific institutions of the region (see the poster).
Since SICA plays an important role in the development of the SISOB project, Beatriz and Miguel Ángel took the opportunity to introduce the project and the work that its Consortium is carrying out.

participaron en la conferencia “Repositories and CRIS: working smartly together” que tuvo lugar en Nottingham, Inglaterra el día 19 de julio de 2011. Presentaron un póster titulado, “SICA: A CRIS with an embedded Repository working for the innovation in Andalusia Region (SPAIN)”.
SICA es un proyecto de gran escala lanzado por el Ministerio de Economía, Ciencia e Innovación en Andalucía. Es un sistema para almacenar información sobre la producción científica de los investigadores pertenecientes a nueve universidades, organizaciones de investigación, centros de tecnología y otras instituciones científicas de la región (ver el póster).
Dado que SICA juega un papel importante en el desarrollo del proyecto SISOB, Beatriz y Miguel Ángel aprovecharon la oportunidad para presentar el proyecto y el trabajo que está realizando el consorcio de SISOB.
